Region: Jasper National Park

Jasper National Park is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, being almost double the size of Banff National Park. This means that the area even more untouched, and has more remote terrain than many of the other areas. The main hub for the park is the town of Jasper, which can be accessed via the Icefields Parkway from Banff, one of the most scenic drives in the world, or from the prairies. Now, although there is less development, this just means that you will likely have the place a bit more to yourself. Some popular spots such as the Edith Cavell and Maligne Lake area are busy, but it is easy to get away from the crowds and see what the park has to offer.
